Our Story

YOU ARE NOT ALONE is a youth-led organization founded in 2025 in Washington, D.C. by students dedicated to supporting children around the world who face barriers to education. The organization works to provide essential educational resources and promote equal access to schooling, helping children who struggle to afford necessities like uniforms, books, and supplies. Its mission is to reduce educational inequality and ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future.

Our Mission

Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty for children in Honduras by ensuring access to basic needs such as school supplies, uniforms, and educational opportunities. We also work to improve classroom programs and provide tutoring support to strengthen student learning and help children succeed academically. Through this support, we aim to help children learn, grow, and build a better future with dignity and hope.

Our First Achievement

In 2025, we raised $1,000 from our Washington, D.C. community. This milestone enabled us to provide math books and school uniforms to 19 children in Honduras, supporting their access to education.
